BVT's engineered parquet collection offers a wide range of choice with different wood species such as oak, walnut, ash, maple, teak and iroko. Different laying characters such as plank, herringbone and Chevron can be assessed according to the atmosphere of the project.
With brushed surfaces, matt lacquer, oiled finishes and custom tone options, engineered parquet can be configured to suit both classic and modern interiors.
When choosing engineered parquet, not only colour or pattern but also the intensity of use of the space, how much light it receives, the subfloor, maintenance expectations and the architectural concept should be assessed together. In both types the top layer is made of premium wood; once the floor is laid, only this layer is visible. In 3-layer engineered parquet the middle layer is made of softwood or HDF, and the bottom layer of softwood. In 2-layer engineered parquet the premium wood layer is bonded to plywood of suitable thickness.
Two-layer engineered parquets are a more flexible material than three-layer ones. Products with HDF or plywood are particularly preferred in environments with underfloor heating.
HDF is a high-density composite panel made from compressed wood fibre. It is more resistant to moisture than natural core layers; in floating installations it sits better on the subfloor and offers acoustic advantages.

Every model can be produced in plank, Chevron and herringbone patterns. Size, surface finish and colour tone are determined according to the project.
