Chevron, widely known in Turkey as Macar parquet, is a special laying style in which the ends of the wood pieces are cut at specific angles to form a symmetrical V shape. Unlike herringbone parquet, it offers a sharper, more regular and more modern line.

Chevron parquet creates an orderly and assertive perspective effect in the space. It makes the floor one of the main design elements especially in long corridors, large living rooms, hotel lobbies, showrooms and private residential projects.
In herringbone parquet the pieces are laid interlocking, whereas in Chevron (Macar) parquet the ends of the pieces are cut at an angle and a clearer V line forms. For this reason Chevron parquet creates a more orderly, more geometric and more contemporary effect.
